This year has hurled us into a whirlwind of worldwide panic caused by the pandemic. And it left us all disoriented and derailed just as quickly. Plans changed, put on hold, shelved, or dumped completely. A lot of businesses have shut down and schedules and protocols change from time to time. Everything seems uncertain.
Now that the year is drawing to a close, businesses are slowly reopening and adjusting to the new normal. If you are one of those wondering which businesses are open, here are some of them. Note that this list focuses on resorts and theme parks only. Please check and follow their health and safety protocols.

1. Anya Resort Tagaytay

2. Enchanted Kingdom
Launched in October 1995, Enchanted Kingdom continues to live by its slogan, “The magic lives forever.” It still enchants visitors with its rides, shows, and games.
The 25-hectare theme park in Santa Rosa, Laguna is divided into eight zones: Victoria Park, Portabello, Spaceport, Jungle Outpost, Brooklyn Place, Midway Boardwalk, Boulderville, and the Cultural Zone. The magic continues at Enchanted Kingdom amidst the pandemic. Again, please take note of their health and safety protocols.

3. Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa
Established in 2016 as part of the eight-hectare Loreland Farm Resort, Luljetta’s Hanging Gardens Spa is the cherry on top, offering not only resort amenities but also health and wellness services like spa and massage packages.
Located along Antipolo Ridges, Luljetta provides a scenic and serene relaxing space for pandemic-weary guests. 4. Inflatable Island, Subic
The premier inflatable playground in the Philippines and said to be the biggest in Asia, the Inflatable Island in Subic boasts fun slides, bridges, towers, swings, human launchers, and more!
This beachside floating island spans about 4,200 square meters and also includes other features such as Floating Zoo, Bali Lounge, Unicorn Island, and Samba Beach. 5. ATV Adventure
Just east of Manila is the jump-off point to a thrilling rough road adventure riding an ATV through jungles, forest, muddy trails and tracks, various terrains, and rivers. The tours are managed and organized by ATV Adventure Rizal.
There are five route options: Short Trail, Forest Trail, Marikina River Trail, Long Trail, and Jungle Trail. Each has its own set of itineraries, duration, and inclusions. There will be a safety briefing and demo with an ATV expert, so no need to worry if it’s your first time. Just follow the instructions and you are good to go!

6. Paintball Battle Ground
Another attraction offered by ATV Adventure Rizal is the paintball battleground. You will have three hours of use of the battlefield with your friends or family for less than P500! This also includes 50 bullets and complete paintball gear — a mask, vest, and a paintball gun.
For safety, please follow all the rules and regulations when inside the battleground. Fire away!

7. Nurture Wellness Village, Tagaytay
Launched in 2001, Nurture Wellness Village in Tagaytay has been pampering its guests through its massage and therapy services since day one.
In fact, the wellness village has won a number of accolades such as one of the most relaxing spas in Asia (CNN Go) and one of the top seven spas of the Philippines (Asia Spa Magazine). It also believes in the healing power of nature or ecotherapy, which is clearly manifested in its location and setting. It also offers glamping amenities for those who have it on their bucket list.

8. Club Balai Isabel + Aqua Park
The nine-hectare Club Balai Isabel is a short drive from Manila and near Tagaytay not only provides the usual resort amenities but also houses Aqua Park. The inflatable water park boasts one of the tallest waterslides in Southeast Asia. There are also plenty of choices for water activities such as kayaking, jet-skiing, banana boat rides, sailing, and more. You can either go on a day trip or stay overnight.

9. Aquaria Waterpark
Aquaria Water Park in Calatagan, Batangas, features a three-story giant slide, cove pools, kiddie pool, and over 500-meter stretch of beach. 10. Cintai Corito’s Garden Day Trip
Cintai Corito’s Garden is a seven-hectare Bali-inspired resort in Balete, Batangas. It used to be a private resthouse but was eventually converted into a resort in loving memory of the family’s matriarch.
The resort has four pools, playgrounds, gardens, and a restaurant. If you are into massages, the resort also offers spa services and amenities. By the way, there are free-roaming animals, so don’t be surprised when you see one while strolling around the property. 11. Dinosaurs Island
Officially opened to the public in August 2012, Dinosaur Island in Clark, Pampanga, is an animatronic theme park and museum providing an interactive and engaging learning experience about the colossal creatures that once roamed our planet.
It features life-size dinosaurs including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Iguanodon, Triceratops, and other dinosaur species. Some of the attractions are Dino Trail (Jurrasic Jungle Safari), Dino World of Fun, and Unearth Museum.
