This 2025, we are celebrating The Poor Traveler’s 15th anniversary!

Yes, we have been travel blogging for 15 years now. Through those years, your support has turned our passion for travel from a simple hobby to a stable career. You have transformed us from just a couple of budget backpackers to a team of travel professionals. You have taken us around the world and to new heights. We’re always thankful for that.

In return, we continue to produce more informative and reliable travel content. But this year, we want to take giving back to another level. This time, we want to share not just travel tips but the gift of education.

In our mission to help shape a new generation of informed and responsible travel professionals, we bring you The Poor Traveler’s Scholarship Program!

Who can apply?

The program is open to all Filipino incoming or current undergraduate students, who are in need of financial assistance for the first semester of AY 2025-26.

We welcome students from any college or university and in any degree or certificate program, but especially the following:
