Who doesn’t love pizzas? Originally from Italy, this flat dough keeps rolling and conquering hungry bellies. This comfort food is one of the easiest choices when we talk about house parties, casual get-together, and even a movie night at home.
Usually composed of dough, tomato sauce and cheese, the wide spectrum of options for toppings makes pizza a very flexible food that is able to conform to different cultures. Because of its adaptability, it is easily embraced by many palates around the globe.
Pizzas are usually oven-baked, but they can also be pan-fried. If you want to customize your own pizza flavor, you can actually make one in the comfort of your home, especially now that most of us really have no choice but to stay at home. Ready-made pizza dough crusts and ready-made pizza sauce are available at supermarkets. But it’s cool to learn how to prepare your pizza from scratch.
Here are some of the homemade pizza recipes that you can try at home, even without an oven. Have fun whipping out your own version of pizza!

Cheesy Ham and Onion Pizza
Naomi Peña demonstrates how to make pizza from scratch without using an oven. You just need your trusty pan to get you through this recipe. For the pizza dough, she used flour, olive oil, salt, egg, and water. For her sauce and toppings, she got pizza sauce, ham, quickmelt cheese, and onion. The measurement for each ingredient is shown in the video.
5-Minute Pizza
Emma’s Goodies uses only two ingredients for the dough — self-rising flour and plain yogurt. For the toppings, she spread tomato sauce and used dark olives, quickmelt cheese, and bell pepper.
If you can’t find self-rising flour, she suggests combining either plain flour and baking powder or plain four and baking soda. If you don’t want to use yogurt, she recommends combining milk and vinegar (or lemon juice). Check the description box for all the ingredients’ exact measurements, including the alternatives.

No-Cheese Pizza
Toasted‘s no-oven pizza recipe replaces cheese with white sauce. For the white sauce, ingredients are oil, garlic, flour, milk, water, salt, and black pepper. For the pizza crust, the ingredients include flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, oil, and plain curd. Curd is coagulated milk. You can achieve this by combining milk and vinegar (or lemon) and then draining the liquid. The toppings are pizza sauce (or tomato sauce), white sauce, sausage, capsicum, tomato, onion, black olive, green olive, oregano, and chili flakes. You can add more or take out other toppings. You can replace the toppings with your own choices.
Pepperoni and Ham Pizza

Her pizza dough, which can make 8-inch pizza, requires all-purpose flour, oil (vegetable, canola or olive), warm water, sugar, instant dry yeast, and salt. If you can’t find yeast, you can combine baking soda and lemon juice in equal parts. For the toppings, she has mozzarella cheese (or quickmelt), pepperoni, ham, green bell pepper, red onion, and of course, pizza sauce (tomato sauce).
